Airbrush makeup provides a flawless, even look over the skin. A look can be managed by adding more layers of airbrush makeup to create a more dramatic effect. Airbrush makeup is the longest-lasting makeup type, with the average durability of 16 hours--although it can last up to 20 hours.
It is also sanitary, because the wand never touches the skin. For this reason, airbrush makeup can be used on multiple people without having to sterilize application instruments.
When you spray this chemical onto your skin, it causes the proteins & amino acids in your skin to react with the oxygen in the air. This reaction creates the brown colour that replicates a natural sun tan without the nasty side effects of UV sun tanning. Spray tans use a chemical known as Dihydroxyacetone, referred to as DHA, to create the brownish colour in the skin. This chemical is a colourless sugar and is the active ingredient in most fake tanning products.
